The ZK7000-0101-0005 is a connection cable produced by Beckhoff as part of the ZK Motor Cables series. In EtherCAT-P based automation cells, this lead distributes both control data and auxiliary 24 V power between the central controller and remote motor or I/O modules, reducing wiring effort while preserving deterministic communication. Male-to-male terminations allow daisy-chain installation without gender adapters.
The cable is limited to 0.5 m, a length that minimizes voltage drop and makes it suitable for panel or cabinet interiors. Its jacket is formed from PUR, providing abrasion and oil resistance in moving machine sections. Each end carries an M8 plug coded for EtherCAT-P; the straight orientation simplifies routing in tight spaces. Internally, the 1×4×AWG22 structure matches the specified data cross-section of 0.34 mm², so conductor impedance remains within EtherCAT tolerance.
