The ZK4724-0410-2200 motor cable is produced by Beckhoff within the ZK Motor Cables series. It links servo or stepper motors to decentralized drives and I/O modules, carrying both power and feedback signals along moving machine axes. The assembly is intended for drag-chain layouts where repeated bending, acceleration, and torsion occur on automated assembly lines. By integrating its connector at the factory, Beckhoff removes field-wiring variability and maintains consistent shielding and strain relief.
The cable length of 20.00 m allows routing between control cabinets and mobile carriages without intermediate plugs. Its cross-section of 3 x 2 x 0.25 mm² (AWG24) provides three shielded twisted pairs sized for low-level signals while keeping the overall diameter compact. A factory-installed M12 circular connector mates with Beckhoff drives when tightened to the recommended 0.6 Nm. The conductors can carry 2 A at 40 °C, supporting brake coils or encoders without temperature rise.
