Product Description:
The ZK4704-0411-2050 motor cable is produced by Beckhoff and belongs to the ZK Motor Cables series. This ready-to-use assembly integrates power and signal cores so that a single line can connect a servo drive to its corresponding motor inside an automation cell. As a finished component, it eliminates on-site wiring errors, preserves shielding integrity, and simplifies machine installation where coordinated motion must remain electrically noise-free.
Its total length of 5.00 m permits routing between the cabinet and a moving axis without excess slack. The molded plug on the drive side presents female contacts and secures by a bayonet mechanism, while the opposite end uses six conductors and overall shielding to maintain EMC performance. Power is handled by three phase leads and a protective earth arranged as 3+PE, and each copper core has a cross-section of 0.75 mm². Within these conductors, the cable can deliver up to 14 A of current at line potentials reaching 630 V AC/DC. Crimped terminations inside the connector stabilize contact resistance, and the outer PUR jacket resists oils and abrasion encountered on gantries or drag chains. Five separate signal positions are arranged next to the power pins to carry encoder or brake lines.
The cable has an ingress rating of IP66/67, allowing the assembly to operate in washdown or dusty zones without additional enclosures. The coupling is rated for 500 mating operations, and the outer sheathing plus fine-stranded conductors withstand up to 10 million dynamic bending cycles for long service in linear tracks. Control cores are insulated for auxiliary circuits at a maximum of 63 V AC/DC, which helps keep low-voltage functions separated from the higher-energy motor phases. This arrangement supports reliable transmission of both motor power and control signals during repeated machine movement.
