Product Description:
The ZK4701-0421-2100 is a motor power cable produced by Beckhoff within the ZK Motor Cables series. It routes drive output from a servo inverter to a motor in automated equipment, providing the power path between the control hardware and the moving axis. The assembly is 10.00 m long and uses a PUR outer jacket that resists oil and abrasion in industrial service. Its conductor insulation is polypropylene, and the brass contacts are gold-plated to reduce mating resistance during repeated plug-ins. This cable type is suited to machines where dependable power transfer and repeated connector handling are part of normal operation.
The cable carries phase and protective conductor currents, and its conductor cross-section of 0.75 mm² supports continuous load flow. Combined with a rated current capacity of 14 A, it suits compact servomotor frames that draw moderate power. Electrical insulation supports a rated operating voltage of 630 V AC/DC and an impulse withstand level of 6.0 kV, which helps prevent breakdown during switching peaks. When the M12 circular connector is fully tightened, the interface reaches IP66/67, blocking dust ingress and resisting water exposure during operation. The protective conductor path also supports safe grounding of the connected motor housing.
The assembly is rated for 500 mating operations, and its internal copper strand design tolerates up to 5 million flex cycles. During dynamic use, it can travel at speeds of up to 4 m/s over horizontal strokes of 20 m. Each conductor can be loaded to 20 N/mm² during motion without plastic deformation, and bends can be made down to seven times the outer diameter to limit strain on the insulation. The overall linear mass is 175.0 kg/km, which is useful when cable routing must account for moving load. These motion characteristics fit automated axes that run through frequent travel cycles in gantry, packaging, and material-handling systems.
