Product Description:
The ZK4530-0010-0200 is a pre-assembled motor cable produced by Beckhoff within the ZK Motor Cables series. The assembly links servo drives to moving axes, carrying power conductors and feedback pairs through a single jacket to simplify routing inside electrical cabinets and machine drag chains. By combining motor power and feedback conductors in one assembly, it reduces the need for separate cable runs between the drive and the axis. In industrial automation lines, this cable maintains signal integrity and consistent torque delivery while machinery runs through continuous motion.
The cable’s conductor layout of 4 x 2 x 0.25 mm² provides eight finely stranded cores for separate power and sensor circuits, and the pre-assembled length of 20.00 m lets it reach remote actuators without intermediate junctions. It supports a continuous line voltage of up to 300 V AC, and the signal paths can carry as much as 7 A while staying within the allowable temperature rise. An overall braid and foil provide electromagnetic shielding that covers 85% or more of the circumference. Contact resistance stays below 5 mΩ at the connectors, while insulation resistance is at least 500 MΩ to limit leakage current. The copper has a maximum loop resistance of 76.0 Ω/km, the mating hardware is rated for 500 insertion cycles, the cable is rated for a 1500 V dielectric test, and the logic lines are rated for 160 V AC/DC service.
For motion-axis use, the cable is rated for a drag-chain service life of 5 million cycles and tolerates linear acceleration up to 20 m/s² without conductor fatigue. During installation on rotating tables, the jacket can accept torsion of ± 30 °/m, and travel speeds up to 3 m/s are permitted in reciprocating gantries. Surge durability is rated at 2.5 kV, matching the fast dV/dt pulses generated by servo inverters. It is suited for pick-and-place units, palletizers, and other automated assemblies that rely on uninterrupted cable flexing.
