Product Description:
The ZK4530-0010-0070 cable is manufactured by Beckhoff and belongs to the ZK Motor Cables series. This flexible hybrid lead serves in industrial automation as the permanent link between a servo amplifier and the corresponding motor or encoder on moving axes. It transports drive power along with feedback signals through a coordinated conductor layout, allowing reliable operation in cable carriers, pick-and-place gantries, and other motion axes that require continuous bending, repeated acceleration, and positional accuracy. Factory termination on both ends eliminates field wiring errors while preserving shielding integrity.
It contains eight signal cores arranged as 4 x 2 x 0.25 mm², along with four power conductors, within a nominal outside diameter of 7.5 mm ± 0.3 mm. The assembly is delivered in a length of 7.00 m, which suits medium-stroke linear modules without excess slack. Power conductors are rated for 300 V AC, while separate signal pairs handle up to 160 V AC/DC at 7 A. A molded circular connector with 12-pin coding is fitted on the drive side, while the motor side uses a 15-pin counterpart. The outer sheath is made of PUR (polyurethane), giving abrasion resistance and compatibility with lubricants, weld spatter, and UV exposure.
For dynamic motion, the cable sustains a linear speed of 3 m/s and can follow accelerations up to 20 m/s² without conductor fatigue. Mechanical endurance is verified for 5 million bending cycles across a travel distance of 5 m and torsion angles of ±30 °/m. Electrical insulation withstands an impulse voltage of 2.5 kV and a test potential of 1500 V, while the composite shielding maintains signal integrity during rapid commutation. The cable is suitable for gantry axes, palletizers, and compact machining centers that operate in continuous duty over long cycles.
