Product Description:
The ZK4511-0000/020-0300 is a Beckhoff motor cable supplied in the ZK Motor Cables series for routing power, feedback, and 24 V auxiliary signals between servo drives and their matching motors. It combines multiple circuits in one cable so moving axes can be wired without separate signal and auxiliary leads. Its molded M23 terminations simplify installation in control cabinets and on moving machine axes, while the integrated shielding helps contain conducted and radiated noise inside automated cells.
This assembly is delivered in a length of 30.00 m, so drives can be mounted away from the actuator without adding extension joints. An M23 female plug at the drive side mates with an M23 male socket at the motor side, and both ends use a 17-pin interface. Inside the PVC sheath, the conductor layout of 7 × 2 × 0.14 mm² plus 2 × 0.5 mm² supports mixed signal and low-power circuits while keeping contact resistance below 5 mΩ. The cable has an outer diameter of 7.6 mm ± 0.3 mm, and flexible machine routing is supported by a minimum bend radius of 5 × outer cable diameter. A temperature range of -40 to +80 °C supports use in cold storage lines or heated enclosures, and the signal cores can carry up to 7 A maximum without exceeding permissible conductor heating.
For electrical integrity, the insulation resistance is rated at at least 20 MΩ·km, and the assembly operates on 30 V control potentials while the signal pair can withstand 125 V AC/DC. The cable also has a rated impulse voltage of 2.0 kV to withstand surge conditions. Mechanical reliability is supported by gold-plated contacts rated for at least 500 mating cycles. A tinned-copper braid combined with an aluminum foil provides shielding effectiveness of ≥ 85%, which helps limit crosstalk during signal transmission.
