The Beckhoff ZK4510-0000-0100 is a motor cable from the ZK Motor Cables series with a cable length of 10 meters and an outer diameter of 7.6 mm. It features an M23 17-pin female connector with IP66/67 protection on one end and a D-sub 15-pin male connector with IP20 protection on the other. The cable has a bend radius of five times the outer cable diameter and uses a conductor layout of 7 x 2 x 0.14 mm² plus 2 x 0.5 mm².
Internal Product Review
The ZK4510-0000-0100 is a Beckhoff motor cable that presents a well-engineered option for dependable signal and power connectivity. The M23 17-pin female plug on Head A with IP66/67 protection supports secure machine-side connection in demanding industrial installations. Shield coverage of at least 85% and a 5x outer-diameter bend radius make this cable especially strong for stable signal integrity and clean routing.

Product Description:
The ZK4510-0000-0100 motor cable is manufactured by Beckhoff and placed in the ZK Motor Cables series. Intended for moving-axis installations, it combines power and feedback wiring so a drive controller can communicate with and energize a servomotor without separate cable runs. This preassembled cable provides a consistent connection path inside industrial automation cells because an M23 female plug is fitted at the motor side, while a 15-pin D-sub socket connects directly to the drive.
The cable is supplied in a length of 10.00 m, allowing controllers to be mounted away from the machine envelope without splicing. The minimum bend radius is 5 × outer cable diameter, so energy-chain installation will not place excessive stress on the cores. An outer diameter of 7.6 mm helps keep chain fill low, and the permitted operating voltage of 30 V matches typical encoder and low-power motor feedback circuits. Inside the PVC jacket, a conductor layout of 7 × 2 × 0.14 mm² plus 2 × 0.5 mm² separates twisted signal pairs from the heavier supply pair, and the conductors use PP insulation for thermal stability. The motor-side plug uses a crimp termination and carries a rating of IP66/67, which blocks dust and high-pressure water during washdown cycles.
Signal integrity along the run is supported by a braided shield with coverage of at least 85%, while the cabinet-end D-sub maintains IP20 protection because it is mated inside an enclosure. Overall mass is limited to 81 kg/km, minimizing pull on moving cable tracks, and the M23 connector withstands up to 500 mating cycles before contact degradation. Solder termination on the drive side helps maintain low-resistance joints, and the PVC jacket works with chain guides to resist oil splashes and abrasion during continuous production shifts.
