Product Description:
The ZK4501-0003-0010 motor extension cable from Beckhoff is designed to be permanently installed in industrial automation systems. This wire is made by the company to meet the needs of precise and stable electrical installations.
The ZK4501-0003-0010 motor extension cable is made with bare copper wires that have a cross-section of 4 x 1.5 mm² (AWG 16) to send power. Between the wire and the screen, the cord can handle a test voltage of 4000 V at 50 Hz for five minutes. It can handle a maximum voltage of 1000 V AC. The DIN EN 50395 standard says that the insulation resistance is ≥500 MΩ/km. Polypropylene (PP) is used to insulate conductors, as it maintains the stability of electricity. The minimum radius of bending is five times the outer diameter of the wire, which makes it easier to install. On one end of the cord is an M23 plug (female, 8-pin), and on the other end is an M23 socket (16-pin male). The static tensile strength of the wire is 50 N/mm², and it meets RoHS standards. The temperature range for operation is from -40 °C to +80 °C, so it can work reliably in a range of temperatures.
The ZK4501-0003-0010 motor extension cable can be used in automation systems that need a stable and safe power supply. The wire can handle high test voltages and insulation resistance, which keeps the electric connections safe. By employing bare copper conductors, the cable's capacity to conduct current is enhanced, and the product's lifespan is extended. According to IEC 60332-1-2, the wire sheathing is composed of PVC, which is not flammable. The fire-resistant PVC jacket makes the cable safer, and the connections make sure that it fits securely together.
