This assembled connection line combines power, brake, and encoder conductors inside a single sheath, providing a compact link between servo drives and their associated rotary motors. By placing these circuits in one cable, the installation stays organized and the number of separate cable runs is reduced. Within automated production cells, the cable maintains consistent voltage delivery and signal quality while it travels inside drag chains or robot arms, reducing wiring time and helping prevent connection errors.
Electrically, the cable is rated for a continuous system voltage of 1000 V AC, and its three power cores each use copper conductors of 4.00 mm². Differential feedback pairs have a characteristic impedance of 110 Ω ± 10 Ω and are limited to 90 pF/m mutual capacitance to reduce reflection on fast encoder edges. A separate AWG22 signal pair is included for auxiliary functions. The thermoplastic polyurethane jacket resists coolants and abrasion, and it gives the cable an overall diameter of 15.9 mm. The stranding is built to withstand a dynamic tensile stress of 20 N/mm², which supports repeated motion in moving cable systems.
