The ZK4500-8023-0020 is a preassembled motor supply cable manufactured by Beckhoff for the ZK Motor Cables series. It is intended for use between an AX servo drive and an AM servomotor, combining power, brake, and feedback conductors in one molded assembly. This arrangement supports quick installation in automated machinery and reduces the need for separate cable runs between the drive and motor. In industrial automation, the cable carries regulated drive power and brake signals while helping preserve electromagnetic compatibility in moving cable-chain applications.
The cable is supplied in a length of 2.00 m and contains three power cores with a cross-section of 1.50 mm² plus two brake cores of 0.75 mm², so drive current and holding-brake current are routed separately. A nominal system voltage of 1000 V AC allows the assembly to connect to high-power servo inverters without an insulation upgrade. Electromagnetic interference is limited by a tinned copper braid with at least 85% coverage, and the polyurethane jacket supports up to 5 million flex cycles in drag-chain applications.
