Beckhoff ZK4500-0023-0140, being a cable has been designed considering a very specialized application of drag-chain and therefore has been ensured to be highly flexible and an adaptable fit in any kind of environment. The serially manufactured product also has quite a number of features which do not compromise on the quality aspect of the cable. Having a flexibility that is high enables the cable to be installed on operation systems that tend to have a wide range of movement. Pumps and other machinery that have a significant amount of rotatory motion are ideal to be used with the cable as the structural design provides a minimum bending radius of 87 mm, while also supporting an excessive amount of bending of up to 5 million cycles.

Drag chains work by providing mechanical movement, and for such applications the wiring is quite extensive: four 1.5 mm2 cwires and two 2 mm2 members of a cable. Moreover, such wiring is able to easily support advanced systems that require speed due to their excellent acceleration abilities that range up to a maximum of 30 meters and at speeds of 240 meters. The working environment in which the drag chain is able to be utilized does not appear to be limited as even with such a size it is able to reach moving dimensions of 20 meters horizontally and 5 meters vertically.

The industrial plug in the wiring has also been made to adhere to the head A, where there is a total of 8 M23 females and a crimp termination in the claws of metal. With this, the connection is guaranteed to be safe and solid. If maximum efficiency is to be maintained, applications that are over 25 meters in length should preferably use a motor choke.
