Product Description:
The ZK4500-0003-0200 is a pre-assembled motor supply cable produced by Beckhoff within the ZK Motor Cables series. It links servo drives to field-mounted actuators and supports both power transmission and brake control in automated machinery. The M23 connector at end A mates directly with Beckhoff drive ports, and its PVC outer jacket and bare copper conductors support stable electrical performance and flexible routing on gantries, pick-and-place axes, and packaging lines. This layout is suited to machine runs where the motor connection must remain compact and dependable during repeated motion.
The cable is delivered in a fixed length of 20 m, allowing cabinet-to-motor runs without splices. Its circular sheath measures 11.7 mm ± 0.3 mm in diameter, so energy-chain carriers can be sized accurately. Three power cores use a cross-section of 1.50 mm², while the two brake conductors use 0.75 mm², which helps balance current handling and cable flexibility. The assembly is insulated for up to 1000 V AC maximum, and it has passed a 4000 V test impulse for dielectric verification. The bare copper strands limit loop resistance to 13.3 Ω/km on the power circuit, and the PVC jacket resists oil and coolant in machine-tool environments.
An overall braid supplies shielding, with a minimum coverage of 85% to reduce drive-induced emissions. Insulation resistance is rated at 500 MΩ·km minimum, which helps maintain low leakage even in humid production areas. During motion, the cable endures a dynamic tensile load of 20 N/mm² maximum and tolerates torsion angles up to ±30°/m maximum, so multi-axis robots can rotate without conductor fatigue. For static routing, the allowable tensile stress increases to 50 N/mm², and the auxiliary pair supports brake control.
