Internal Product Review
The ZK4500-0003-0090 is a Beckhoff motor cable with an M23 head and a PVC jacket, well suited for clean industrial integration. A 1000 V AC operating voltage and 4000 V test voltage give the cable strong electrical headroom for demanding servo installations.

Product Description:
The ZK4500-0003-0090 motor cable is manufactured by Beckhoff and belongs to the ZK Motor Cables series. It is designed to link servo drives with field-mounted motors in automated lines, transmitting power and brake signals while withstanding continuous motion inside cable chains. By integrating power cores and auxiliary pairs in one sheath, the product simplifies routing, reduces panel space, and supports synchronized axis operation in industrial automation systems.
The cable is supplied in a fixed length of 9.00 m, allowing direct installation between standard drive cabinets and moving axes without on-site cutting. Its conductor layout of 4 x 1.5 + 2 x (2 x 0.75) mm² combines four power cores with two twisted control pairs, so power and brake circuits share the same harness. All conductors are made from copper bare; the unplated strands keep resistance low and improve heat dissipation under load. During dynamic motion, the cable tolerates a tensile stress of 20 N/mm², which helps prevent core elongation in high-cycle drag-chain duty. At the motor end, the eight-pin power connector supports up to 30 A, matching the peak phase current of typical medium-frame servos.
The control cabinet side is equipped with a Head B four-pin plug for the DC link and a Head D five-pin socket for digital brake signals, while the motor side uses the M23 shell to keep shielding 360° around the power cores. Continuous operation is rated for line potentials up to 630 V AC/DC, and the cable as a whole withstands system voltages of 1000 V AC, verified by a 4 kV test impulse. A static tensile load limit of 50 N/mm² applies during installation, and the gray PVC outer jacket resists coolant splashes and abrasion. Polypropylene insulation over each conductor supports low dielectric loss, and the finished bundle maintains an outer diameter of 11.7 mm ± 0.3 mm, which helps it fit within confined drag-chain spaces.
