The ZK4000-6100-2020 is a motor supply cable produced by Beckhoff within its ZK Motor Cables series. With pre-assembled connectors and mechanical durability, the cable links a drive controller to a distributed servo motor in an automated machine. By integrating power and feedback conductors in one assembly, ZK4000-6100-2020 reduces wiring effort and ensures consistent electrical characteristics along the motion axis.
At the drive end, the cable uses an M12 circular plug that is A-coded and configured as a 4-pin male interface, so it matches standard EtherCAT P and servo field devices. The four conductors have a cross-section of 4 x 0.5 mm² (AWG20), a size that balances current capacity with flexibility for dynamic routing. Under nominal load, the assembly carries 5 A, while the insulation system supports a rated voltage of 250 V and operation up to 300 V; dielectric integrity is verified at a test voltage of at least 3000 V. Environmental sealing is classified as IP65/67, preventing dust ingress and protecting against temporary immersion when the molded backshell is correctly fastened.
