Product Description:
The ZK4000-2711-2050 motor cable is produced by Beckhoff within the ZK Motor Cables series. It is intended to link a synchronous servo motor to its designated drive module inside automated machinery, transferring three-phase power, protective earth, and encoder conductors through a single molded assembly. As part of the cabling layer in an installation, the product simplifies field routing, supports dynamic machine motion, and matches the electrical requirements of Beckhoff motion components used in material-handling, packaging, and CNC equipment. It combines power and feedback paths in one cable body, which helps keep moving-axis wiring compact.
This cable supports runs up to 25 m, a length that allows mounting of motors on moving axes without intermediate junctions while keeping impedance within drive tolerances. Its conductor insulation is formed from PETP, providing high dielectric strength and resistance to coolants and cutting oils. A seamless outer jacket of PUR withstands torsion and continuous flex cycles in drag-chain carriers. To minimize reactive current at the drive output, line-to-motor capacitance remains below <150 pF/m. Power and signal cores terminate in a keyed M23 housing with an 8-pole plug, and this threaded coupling endures vibration during high-speed positioning.
As a Motor Cable, the assembly follows the color coding and conductor cross-sections used for the AX2500 drive family. The braid and foil screen is pressed into a crimped Metal Ferrule, maintaining 360-degree shield continuity once the connector housing is tightened. The layout, materials, and shielding support electromagnetic compatibility when multiple axes, high-frequency inverters, and sensor lines share the same control cabinet. This helps reduce interference-related drive faults in tightly packed motion systems.
