The Beckhoff ZK4000-2112-2150 connecting cable features a copper bare conductor that ensures optimal electrical conductivity. The outer diameter of the cable measures 12.7 mm and the weight is approximately 265 kg per kilometer. It supports a maximum operating voltage of 1000 V AC as per UL standards. The optical covering factor of shielding is at least 85 % that provides effective electromagnetic interference protection. The jacket material of the cable is made from PUR (polyurethane) that is known for its mechanical strength and oil resistance. Wire insulation is constructed from PP (polypropylene). This insulation offers stable dielectric properties. It can handle maximum acceleration up to 50 m/s² depending on travel distance. The cable supports a torsion angle of up to ± 30° per meter that makes it highly flexible for various motion systems. It boasts excellent insulation resistance of ≥ 500 MΩ·km as per DIN EN 50395.
The ZK4000-2112-2150 connecting cable from the ZK series operates efficiently in temperature ranges from – 30 °C to + 80 °C for moving applications and – 50 °C to + 80 °C for fixed installations. The cable is effective between – 20 °C to + 60 °C in drag chain systems. The product is oil resistant according to DIN EN 60811-2-1 and flame retardant in compliance with IEC 60332-1-2 UL758. It is halogen-free per DIN VDE 0472 Teil 815. The cable is silicone free and RoHS compliant that meets environmental and health standards. The cable is suitable for high speed and high cycle operations.
