The Beckhoff ZK4000-2111-2150 is a 15 meter motor cable from the ZK Motor Cables series with a conductor cross-section of 4 x 1.5 mm² plus 2 x 1 mm², featuring bare copper conductors. This cable uses a PUR jacket and PP insulation, supports a maximum operating voltage of 1000 V AC, and is compatible with AX2000 servo drives. It offers a maximum acceleration of 50 m/s², can withstand up to 10 million bending cycles, and has a minimum bend radius of 7.5 times its outer diameter.

Product Description:
The ZK4000-2111-2150 is a dynamic motor power cable manufactured by Beckhoff as part of the ZK Motor Cables series. It forms the electrical link between an AX2000 servo drive and its corresponding motor, delivering three-phase power and sensor supply within a single sheath. Intended for continuous-motion installations such as pick-and-place modules, conveyors, and rotary index tables, the cable balances mechanical flexibility with insulation properties suited to industrial automation environments.
The assembly is supplied in a length of 15 m, allowing drive cabinets to be positioned away from moving axes without intermediate junctions. Its power and auxiliary pairs use a conductor package rated at 4 × 1.5 mm² + 2 × 1 mm², a geometry that supports simultaneous transmission of motor phase current and brake or feedback supply. Bare copper strands keep wire resistance below 20 Ω/km, limiting voltage drop along the run, while polypropylene insulation resists deformation at elevated panel temperatures. A measured insulation resistance of ≥500 MΩ·km reduces leakage current and contributes to EMC compliance. The cable withstands continuous operating potentials up to 1000 V AC and endures a dielectric test at 4000 V to verify margin before installation. A tough PUR outer jacket protects against oil and coolant exposure.
Inside moving cable chains the design tolerates acceleration up to 50 m/s² and survives 10 million flex cycles, limiting unplanned downtime on high-speed gantries. Electromagnetic interference is contained by a tinned-copper braid that maintains ≥85% optical coverage around the core bundle. Installers can route the cable through compact guides because the outside diameter measures only 10.8 mm, and the mechanical bend limit is specified at 7.5 × OD. These attributes, combined with the low-friction jacket and precisely balanced conductor set, finish the electrical and mechanical profile required for drag-chain service in modern Beckhoff motion platforms.
