Beckhoff’s ZK2000-2162-0020 is a flexible motor cable from the ZK Motor Cables series that links servo drives to field-mounted motors in automated machinery. The molded M8 plug on one end and the M12 socket on the opposite end let the cable carry power and feedback over a single lead while keeping panel wiring minimal. Its polyurethane jacket, A-coding, and compact outer diameter support continuous motion tasks on gantries, pick-and-place axes, and other moving-cable assemblies.
The conductor bundle has a length of 2.00 m, giving a fixed reach for short-stroke axes and tool heads without excess slack. Each core has a cross-section of 3 × 0.25 mm² (AWG24), so the cable can carry control-level power without adding bulk. Electrical insulation is rated for up to 300 V, and within this range the three cores may deliver or sense power without dielectric breakdown. Continuous current capability reaches 4 A at 40 °C, allowing typical 24 V auxiliary loads or low-power motor phases to run at full duty while the assembly remains within its thermal limit.
