Product Description:
The ZK2000-2100-0050 motor cable is manufactured by Beckhoff and belongs to the ZK Motor Cables series. Intended for compact servo assemblies, this pre-assembled lead transfers power from the drive controller to small motors in gantries, pick-and-place heads, and indexing conveyors. By combining a molded connector with a flexible industrial jacket, it provides a reliable link that endures constant motion and vibration. The cable simplifies machine wiring by eliminating field cutting and stripping, and its standardized interface supports quick connection without re-terminating conductors.
The assembly has a length of 5.00 m, giving adequate reach from the control panel to a moving carriage while avoiding excess cable loops. Inside the sheath, three power cores with a cross section of 3 × 0.25 mm² use a conductor build of 32 strands, each measuring 0.10 mm, to improve flex life. A durable PUR outer jacket resists oils, coolants, and weld spatter, and the field side uses a metric M8 plug with a 3-pin male contact layout. When fully engaged, the molded coupling achieves IP67 protection, which helps shield the crimp connection from dust and water. The factory-attached plug and contacts reduce installation variability and keep the cable ready for direct use.
For electrical loading, the cable carries up to 4 A at 40 °C while operating within a system limit of 50 V AC/60 V DC. Its flexible construction allows continuous motion at linear axis speeds reaching 5 m/s without exceeding the minimum bend radius. During installation, tightening the knurled coupling nut to 0.4 Nm secures the interface and helps maintain contact integrity. The A-coded keying prevents mismating by aligning the connector with the corresponding receptacle, and the compact build helps limit insertion loss over repeated connection cycles.
