The ZK1090-9191-0015 is a pre-terminated motor cable manufactured by Beckhoff in its ZK Motor Cables series. It links EtherCAT or other RS-485-based drives to servo motors, carrying both power and differential feedback signals in a single screened jacket. By supplying factory-installed male and female connectors, the cable reduces assembly errors and speeds machine installation in industrial automation cells.
With a 1.50 m overall length, the assembly suits short-run servo loops while limiting excess capacitance. Inside, a 4 x 2 x AWG26 twisted-pair layout provides balanced transmission, and the characteristic impedance of 100 Ω ±15 Ω aligns with EtherCAT and other 100-ohm systems to help control signal reflections. Each conductor has a 0.14 mm² cross-section, supporting application current without significant voltage drop. The plug molded onto the drive side uses a RJ45 interface with an 8-pin arrangement and is rated for at least 750 mating cycles.
