Product Description:

The ZK1090-6191-4200 is a motor cable from the ZK motor cables series made by Beckhoff. It enables operation of EtherCAT systems through its high-speed capability that extend up to 15 m/s. The ZK1090 cable offers insulation resistance of at least 10 GΩ at head A while head B measures insulation resistance at a minimum of above 100 MΩ.

The ZK1090-6191-4200 motor cable’s head and body parts consist of PC and durable TPU materials which bring stability to the straight connector design. At its head A the connector adopts plug with 4-pin D-coded male configuration but head B utilizes plug with 8-pin male configuration. The ZK1090 motor cable provides a secure connection at head A by employing D-coded locking due to its mating capabilities. The rated current for head A reaches 4 A when head A operates at 40°C temperature and the head B has a rated current of 1 A operating at the same temperature to ensure reliable performance. The ZK1090 motor cable supports a rated voltage value of 125 V and its shielding braid consists of tinned copper wires that have achieved a 90% optical covering factor. The protection ratings for head A are IP65/67 whereas head B maintains an IP20 rating for industrial environments.

The ZK1090-6191-4200 motor cable employs shielding at head A for transmission stability and electromagnetic protection is present at both ends. It features dielectric strength of 1000 V DC and 700 V AC. The outer cable diameter remains within 5.4 mm ± 0.3 mm for compact dimensions and operates with a cross-section of 1 x 4 x 0.14 mm² matching Ethernet Cat.5 standards. The ZK1090 motor cable can survive 20 million bending events under defined ambient conditions.
