Product Description:
The ZK1090-3191-1010 motor cable is manufactured by Beckhoff and belongs to the ZK Motor Cables series. It is intended for servo axes that require simultaneous transmission of power and industrial Ethernet, allowing drives mounted on linear slides or rotary tables to remain connected to the control cabinet during motion. By combining shielded conductors with a molded connector set, the assembly supports drag-chain routing and helps maintain stable electrical performance under continuous movement. The combined cable layout also reduces the need to route separate power and communication lines through the same moving path.
The cable has a length of 1.00 m, so the controller and motor can be placed a short fixed distance apart. It has a design voltage rating of 600 V, which permits use on servo outputs that operate well above signal levels without compromising insulation. The internal power cores use 7 × 0.25 mm stranded copper, and the cable also includes a balanced data set with a cross-section of 1 × 4 × 0.34 mm² (AWG22) for feedback transmission. On the motor side, a molded M8 plug carries phase power up to 4 A and is secured with a metal nut tightened to 0.4 Nm so the connection remains stable during axis acceleration. The polyurethane jacket resists oil and abrasion, and the drag-chain-ready construction supports acceleration up to 4 m/s² while maintaining a signal propagation delay of 5.3 ns per meter. This combination makes the cable suitable for compact moving axes where flexible routing and dependable signal transfer are both required.
At the controller end, an RJ45 plug combines Ethernet signaling and auxiliary supply lines. This connector carries up to 1.5 A and has a contact voltage limit of 150 V, making it suitable for standard EtherCAT drive inputs. Mechanical endurance is rated for 3 million carrier strokes, provided cable travel speed does not exceed 4 m/s along the guide channel. The outer polyurethane layer and finely stranded conductors help reduce fatigue during continuous reciprocating motion. The cable is intended for applications where repeated bending is expected and where both data transmission and motor connection need to remain stable over time.
