The ZK1090-3191-0205 motor cable is manufactured by Beckhoff and belongs to the ZK Motor Cables series. This preassembled assembly links servo drives with decentralized I/O or encoder modules, carrying power-limited control and feedback signals in automated machinery. By combining an M8 field connector on one end with an RJ45 plug on the other, it provides quick installation in motion axes where space is limited and shielded signal integrity is required.
The cable is rated for 30 V, so it suits low-voltage sensor and communication circuits rather than motor power conductors. Its conductors use a 19 x 0.1 mm stranded layout made from tinned copper, and the fine strands keep the cable flexible while the tin layer resists oxidation. The core set has a 1 x 4 x 0.14 mm² cross-section that matches AWG26, balancing current capacity with a compact diameter. At the device side, the straight M8, 4-pin, A-coded plug can deliver up to 4 A at 40°C, supporting brake release or other auxiliary loads.
