Product Description:

The ZK1090-3191-0100 EtherCAT cable is a high quality industrial grade cable designed for use in Ethernet based industrial automation systems. The cable is manufactured to meet stringent industry standards. This cable is suitable for drag-chain applications.

This ZK1090-3191-0100 EtherCAT cable features a star quad structure that ensures signal integrity and noise immunity. The conductor construction consists of 19 strands of 0.1 mm tinned copper. Its cross section measures 1 x 4 x 0.14 mm² (AWG26) and it has a total diameter of 5.4 mm ± 0.3 mm. The cable is shielded with braided tinned copper wires offering a shielding attenuation of ≥ 43 dB and an optical covering factor of 90 %. It is optimized for Ethernet applications with an insulation resistance of ≥ 150 MΩ/km and a mutual capacitance of 51 pF/m. The cable has a characteristic impedance of 100 Ω ± 15 Ω at 100 MHz. The cable can handle dielectric strengths of 1000 V DC/700 V AC for wire-to-wire and wire-to-shield configurations. It is also designed to withstand up to 20 million cycles in drag-chain use and operate at speeds up to 15 m/s with a maximum acceleration of 10 m/s².

The outer jacket of the ZK1090 series EtherCAT cable is made from durable PUR (polyurethane) offering resistance to oil, acids and alkalis. The cable is marked with black text on the green jacket for clear identification and it is compliant with DIN EN 60811-404 standards for oil resistance. The wire insulation is made from PP (polypropylene) and the cable’s design includes a wall thickness of 0.25 mm for added durability in harsh environments. This cable is robust yet flexible enough for various industrial Ethernet applications with a weight of 40 kg/km.
