The model ZK1090-3191-0050 is an industrial grade Ethernet cable designed by Beckhoff for reliable data transmission in EtherCAT systems. This ZK1090-3191-0050 EtherCAT cable comes with two different connector heads. Head A is an M8 plug featuring a 4 pin configuration, A-coded and male contacts. It supports a rated voltage of 63 V and a rated current of 4 A at 40 °C. The insulation resistance for Head A is ≥ 100 GΩ and it is shielded for extra protection. It has a straight configuration with a recommended torque of 0.4 Nm. It is highly durable with a mating cycle of ≥ 100 and uses a screw-type locking mechanism. The head A body is made of black TPU with a GD-Zn, Ni-plated coupling nut. The contact material is CuZn with Ni, Au gal. plating. Head A is designed to operate between -30 °C to +70 °C with a protection rating of IP65/67 in a screwed condition.
Head B of the ZK1090-3191-0050 EtherCAT cable is an RJ45 plug with an 8 pin male configuration. It supports a rated voltage of 125 V and a current of 1 A at 40 °C. Similar to Head A, it is shielded and offers insulation resistance of ≥ 100 MΩ. However, its protection rating is IP20 meaning it's suitable for less rugged environments. The body material of Head B is PC UL 94 V0 and it has a green contact carrier. The connector is RoHS compliant and it can operate in temperatures from -40 °C to +60 °C. The cable is flame resistant, halogen free and oil resistant as per IEC standards.
