The ZK1090-3191-0010 is a pre-assembled motor patch cable manufactured by Beckhoff for the ZK Motor Cables series. Designed for industrial automation lines, this component provides both power and Ethernet-based feedback between field devices and control cabinets. The molded connectors and fixed conductor geometry allow the cable to be routed quickly through drag chains and machine frames while maintaining consistent electrical characteristics required for deterministic motion control.
The cable carries control supply up to 30 V and withstands up to 700 V test potential between core and shield for insulation verification. Its internal geometry follows a Star Quad arrangement where four balanced cores minimize crosstalk and preserve impedance. Each core is built from 19 × 0.1 mm fine-strand copper, and the overall conductor set has a cross-section of 1 × 4 × 0.14 mm² (AWG26), a size that keeps bending forces low in dynamic cable tracks. The outer jacket is hardened PUR (Polyurethane) to resist oils and weld spatter over the specified service life.
