The unbalanced capacitance to ground is 3400 pF/km and the mutual capacitance is 51 pF/m at 1 kHz which supports efficient data transmission. The model’s characteristic impedance is 100 Ω ± 15 Ω which is within the tolerance needed for high speed Ethernet communication. It features loop resistance of 250 Ω/km, unbalanced resistance of 2 % and dielectric strength of 1000 V DC/700 V AC for both wire-to-wire and wire-to-shield connections.
