The M-2400 032 is a modular input-output device produced by Beckhoff within the M Parallel IO Modules series. This module combines mixed-signal channels to link field wiring with a PLC or industrial PC through a parallel backplane. It serves as an interface that samples sensors, drives actuators, and transmits process data with deterministic timing suitable for machine control. The mixed I/O layout allows one module to handle analog command signals and discrete status points in the same assembly.

A 32-bit internal bus refreshes every 25 µs, allowing synchronous updates of the module registers. The analog section provides 4 differential outputs with a range of ±10 V.
