The KS4034 is a four-channel serial communication module from the KS digital series built by Beckhoff. It is typically used in industrial automation systems where there is a need to integrate serial devices. The KS40 module provides a straightforward installation because it lacks both address and configuration needs.
The KS4034 KS module offers IP20 protection and comes with a free position installation option. Its output channels have independent ground terminals while status indicator LEDs let users verify operational status. The KS40 KS module receives operational signal of ±10 V and enables high-resistance loads beyond 5 KΩ to provide short-circuit protection. It delivers analog signal stability through 12-bit resolution instruments for detailed control systems and ensures measurement precision of ±0.5 LSB which applies equally to its linearity error and offset error. During extended temperature operation the output error rate stays at a maximum of ±0.75% of final output value while the error is below ±0.1% under normal conditions. Power for the KS40 KS module route through K-Bus and draws a normal operational 75 mA of current. The connection between K-Bus and signal voltage reaches 500 V to ensure operational safety.
