Product Description:
This state-of-the-art KS3062 digital input module consists of I/O routing of KS bus networks that streamlines the configuration across KS bus networks. A 500V electrical isolation prevents cross-channel interference and protects connected devices between K-bus and signal voltage. Weight is about 60 g, reducing rail load and making its integration in modules straightforward. The number of inputs is 2, that means the two voltage sensors can be monitored simultaneously. Power to the K-bus supplies power to it eliminating power wiring and simplifies installation.
Signal voltage ranges from 0 to 10 V which supports standard analog sensors and ensures direct compatibility. Because of 200 kΩ device’s internal resistance, it minimizes input loading and maintains signal integrity. The module’s conversion time runs around 2 ms and it delivers near real-time updates for tight feedback loops. Resolution stands at 12-bit, offering 4096 distinct levels for precise measurement steps. The measurement error remains below ±0.3% relative to full-scale value. The K-bus commonly consumes 60 mA current to keep bus loading low. To process image, the bit-width allocates two 16-bit data words with an additional two 8-bit control/status bytes.
The KS3062 operates at a temperature of approx. 0 to 55°C and ensures it performs without any performance degradation along with the storage temperature ranges from -25 to +85°C. International approvals include CE, CCC, UL, ATEX and IECEx to guarantees safe operation in certified industrial areas and streamline compliance documentation. 35 mm DIN rails are capable of accommodating side by side mounting with the module’s dimensions of 12×100×68 mm.
