The KL9181 from Beckhoff signifies a power transmission terminal system and is a component of the KL Analog Input Modules.
The module features capabilities to process two different electrical potentials while providing eight terminal points, which enable systematic distribution of power to multiple segments. With maximum terminal point currents of 10 A and maximum voltages of 60 V AC/DC, it works in the middle voltage and current ranges. The K-bus and power contacts run in parallel to keep everything connected along the route without interruptions for total communication and power transmission between modules. The module comes equipped with two 8-way internal bridging systems that simplify the secure connection of devices to all potential groups, independent of complex external wiring requirements. It also incorporates internal bridges for efficient power distribution, which leads to faster installation times in structured electrical systems. With its small size, the unit weighs around 60 grams. Its operational temperature ranges from 0 to 55°C, and it has to be stored between -25 and +85°C.
