Product Description:

The KL9070 is among the modules utilized to provide electrical continuity and shielding in terminal assemblies. It supports a maximum current of up to 10 A and nominal input voltages of up to 60 V and thus can most suitably provide low-voltage power to neighboring modules in a system. Its key feature is that it is able to take eight independent shield connections and hence be extremely well-suited for high signal integrity and good EMI rejection use.

The KL9070 threads onto the K-bus and offers continuous communications between terminals without ever putting data into the process image in any way. What this accomplishes is to enable the module to function as a structure without using logical memory or even interfering with system processing. Electrical connection to the DIN rail is possible, enhancing system grounding and stability. Having an incredibly thin housing width of just 12 mm, the KL9070 is suitable for installations with limited space. An offside contact without PE is available, and module orientation and integration flexibility is ensured. The unit can be installed side by side with other non-power contact bus terminals, and plan and layout terminal design flexibility is enhanced. Its passive mode of operation and non-intrusive nature qualify it for use in applications where power continuity and shielding are required without the addition of signal-processing hardware.

The KL9070 must deliver homogeneous electric and mechanical performance in multistation terminal systems. It is best applied in such multistation terminal systems where there is a need for extension ability, heavy-shielding ability, and break-away K-bus connection ability. It is simple to install and integrate and helps with support facilities for structured cabling and grounding methods on cost-effective and clean terminal strips.
