As of Version 2.0, the KL6201-0000 AS-Interface master terminal can handle up to 31 slaves. For Version 2.1, the terminal can handle up to 62 slaves. The terminal can manage both digital and traditional slave types that allow the control of different kinds of devices. Diagnostics on the terminal keep an eye on power failures, slave failures, and parameterization problems to help make sure the system works reliably. The link is made with two lines that use spring force technology to ensure the connection is safe and stable. You can choose from 12, 22, or 38 bytes for the product's bit width in the process image, plus an extra 6 bytes for the parameter interface. The protection grade of IP20 means that it can be used in controlled environments.

With a cycle time of up to 5 ms for 31 devices and 10 ms for 62 devices, the KL6201-0000 makes sure that transmission goes quickly.
