This KL5111-001 incremental encoder interface supports incremental encoders with a single channel for capturing signals from an encoder by typically used for motion control or monitoring. This KL series encoder supports four-fold evaluation which allows it to process up to 1 million increments per second by providing high-resolution feedback for precise control. This is more enhanced by its 16-bit binary counter and a zero-pulse latch which adds flexibility in applications that require position referencing. It offers connections for A, B, and C encoder signals along with a 24 V power supply for the encoder connection itself and does not provide encoder output current. The KL5111-0015 incremental encoder is housed in a compact and 12 mm-wide terminal with pluggable wiring for easy installation using rail mounting by complying with EN 60715.
