The KL4428 is designed by Beckhoff. It delivers current signals between 4 to 20 mA with high precision. It ensures space-saving installation with its compact housing structure. It is an eight-channel analog output terminal. This module meets vibration standards EN 60068-2-6 and EN 60068-2-27.
The Beckhoff’s KL4428 operates on a single-ended technology that supports eight independent output channels efficiently. The output signal maintains a 12-bit resolution for current control. It allows installation on a 35 mm DIN rail as per EN 60715 standards. Wiring supports solid, flexible and ferrule conductors with defined cross-sections. Electrical isolation of 500 V between the K-bus and signal voltage provides operational reliability. The 24 V DC power supply is delivered through the power contacts ensuring continuous output operation. It offers an alternative 15 V DC supply with the use of the KL9515 terminal. It consumes around 60 mA plus load from the power contacts and 20 mA from the K-bus. Beckhoff’s module supports a relative output error of less than ±0.2%. Increased packing density enables the KL4428 to optimize space in control cabinets. Each output can handle a load of less than 150 ohms and remains short-circuit proof. It operates effectively between 0°C to 55°C. KL4428 withstands 95% relative humidity without condensation. KS-12-8pin housings handle 0.08 to 1.5 mm² solid conductors efficiently. Stripping lengths for wiring vary from 8 to 10 mm depending on housing type.
The KL4428 by Beckhoff features side-by-side mounting. It can be stored safely from -25°C to 85°C temperature range. Labelling compatibility with the BZxxxx series provides easy identification. KL4428 has pluggable wiring options compatible with KSxxxx terminals for flexible configurations. Housing material of durable polycarbonate supports extended lifecycle in harsh conditions. Its protection rating is IP20 for safe operation in industrial environments.
