The KL4414 by Beckhoff is engineered for accurate analog current output. It accommodates a signal range of 0 to 20 mA with four autonomous outputs. It guarantees dependable performance through 12-bit resolution. This module falls under the KL series.
The Beckhoff’s KL4414 uses a power supply of 24 V DC via power connections. It can also be supplied with 15 V DC through the KL9515 power feed terminal. All channels have 500 V of electrical isolation. The KL4414 module draws around 60 mA from the power contacts, in addition to the connected load, and typically uses 20 mA from the K-bus. It handles 4 x channels of 16-bit data and optionally supports 4 x channels of 8-bit control or status data. The module is designed for installation on a 35 mm DIN rail mounting. Being short circuit proof, the module can operate with a load of less than 350 ohms. It has a polycarbonate casing with dimensions of 12 x 100 x 68 mm, solid and flexible conductors, with connecting cross sections between 0.08 and 2.5 mm².Ferrules range from 0.14 to 1.5 mm². The KL4414 provides stripping lengths of 8-9 mm for KL housing and 9-10 mm for KS housing. It can endure up to 95% relative humidity. The maximum current load on power contacts is rated at 10 amps.
