The model KL4004 is an Analog Output Bus Terminal that delivers 0 to 10 V output signals. It features four output channels all sharing a common ground. The module provides 12 bit resolution and is electrically isolated from the K-bus.
The KL4004 is a single ended analog output terminal designed for voltage signal generation. It supports a signal range of 0 to 10 V and offers four output channels. Each output is capable of delivering precise signals to the process level with an output error of less than ± 0.1 % of the end value. The resolution of 12 bits ensures accurate voltage representation across the output range. The terminal is isolated from the K-bus with a dielectric strength of 500 V that enhances operational safety and noise immunity. It connects to the power supply via the K-bus and consumes approximately 85 mA. The conversion time for signal transmission is around 2 milliseconds. The module is designed to operate with a load greater than 5 kΩ and is short circuit proof. The output channels are not individually isolated but share a common ground potential. It does not draw current from power contacts that makes it suitable for applications where no power contact usage is required. The KL series bus terminal includes run LEDs to indicate active data exchange with the Bus Coupler.
