The Beckhoff KL3214-0000 is a robust thermocouple/RTD temperature input module intended for industrial automation applications. The KL3214 input module has a measuring range of -200 to +850 degrees C for Platinum (Pt) thermowells and -60 to +250 degrees C for Nickel (Ni) thermowells. This temperature input module employs the 3-wire connection system, thus minimizing the impact of lead wire resistance to achieve more accurate readings. The Beckhoff KL3214-0000 also has a small conversion time of about 170 ms and a fast response rate in processing data. The resolution of the module is 0.1 degrees C per digit, which is useful in providing accurate temperature measurements in different industrial uses.

The performance of this RTD temperature input module is very high, and the KL3214 module has an open-circuit configuration in case a sensor is removed or not working well.
