An excellent tool for industrial automation systems is the Beckhoff KL3162 Analog Input Module.
This gadget has two programmable interfaces for both single-ended and differential input detection. The module operates within a signal voltage range from 0 to 10 V, allowing it to meet different applications requiring accurate voltage measurement. The signal integrity remains unaltered due to an internal resistance value of > 70 kΩ. This KL3162 module provides a 10 V maximum common-mode voltage specification, enabling correct measurements in systems that present small common-mode voltage fluctuations. Users can adjust the conversion time setting of the system to match their specific application needs through a default value of 140 ms. The module contains a 50 Hz cutoff frequency filter that users can adjust to remove unwanted signal interferences. By precisely measuring even the smallest voltage fluctuations, the KL3162 system's 16-bit resolution rate generates very accurate voltage measurements.
Since the measurement error remains within the range of < ±0.05% relative to the full-scale value, it has no effect and allows for the collection of accurate and trustworthy data. K-bus operation is energy efficient since it typically uses 85 mA of power to provide continuous industrial system execution. This KL3162 sensor is appropriate for various industrial applications since it functions well at temperatures between 0°C and 55°C. To meet a variety of storage needs, the device operates within a temperature range of -25°C to +85°C.
