Product Description:
Offered by Beckhoff, the KL3132 accurate analog terminal has two analog input channels. This terminal has the ability of processing signals in the -10 V to +10 V range. The product digitizes the signal voltage to a 16-bit resolution and transmits it to an appropriate higher-level automation system with electrical isolation. This device is delivered with a high measurement accuracy of +/-0.05%. The unit portrays optimization for high-precision control processes. Its inputs have the same internal ground terminal. This terminal uses LEDs to highlight the exchange of data with the bus coupler.
The products installation is to be executed as per its documentation. This devices original state should not be changed by its user. The unit is to be deployed only for applications authorized by the manufacturer. It comprises an input resistance of more than 70 kOhms. This terminal has a configurable conversion time that is set to 140 ms by default. The products error LEDs illuminate red when the analog values of the channels are greater or less than the valid measuring range. This device has distinct LEDs for its channels and K-bus. The units E1 terminal point of the first channel can be set to an internal analog ground using the R32.6 bit of the feature register. Its channels do not have electrical isolation.
This accurate analog terminal undergoes self-calibration periodically. The product can monitor two limit values for each analog channel. This device relies on a R32.6 bit to deactivate the differential measurement. The units assembly should be terminated properly to ensure its ESD protection and protection class. Its limit values are activated through bits in its feature registers.
