Beckhoff's KL3062-0050 is an analog input terminal from the KL Analog Input Modules series. Designed for standard automation systems, this module captures low-level voltage signals from field devices and sends the processed data to the fieldbus controller. By combining multiple measurement paths into a slim terminal, it provides distributed acquisition of electrical process values without requiring separate signal conditioners or extra rack space. This makes it suitable for sensors that provide conditioned voltage outputs such as position transmitters, level devices, and compact process instrumentation.
It digitizes each channel with 12-bit resolution, enabling precise scaling of 0–10 V transducers. Because the module offers 2 single-ended inputs, separate sensors can be monitored independently while sharing a common ground reference. The accepted signal type is voltage, so current loops or thermocouple sources require external conversion. The terminal has an IP20 protection rating and mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail. It receives logic and sensor power through the internal K-Bus, which eliminates separate feed wiring and keeps installation simple. The single-ended topology keeps wiring straightforward when sensors share the same reference potential across a terminal strip.
For cabinet layout, the terminal has a depth of 68 mm, a height of 100 mm, and a front width of 12 mm.
