The KL3052 analog input bus terminal crafted by Beckhoff is single-ended and comprises a dual-channel design. This terminal can process signals in the range of 4 mA to 20 mA. Powering the measuring transducers within the designated field, it also ensures safe transmission of isolated analog signals to the automation system. Designed for flexibility, the unit gets voltage for its sensors via the power contacts. Its input electronics remain unaffected by the supply voltage. This terminal has two sets of LEDs comprising the run LEDs and error LEDs.
A 0 V rail is used as the reference potential for precise input measurements. This device portrays an 80 Ohms internal resistance along with a diode voltage of 0.7 V. The unit has load only type current consumption for its power contacts. It has a 12-bit resolution corresponding to 4095 steps. This terminal comes equipped with power contacts. The product's process data is represented in two's complement form. This device needs proper mounting and wiring to be established for ESD protection.
