The model KL3041 is a 1 Channel Analog Input Bus Terminal for current measurement. It supports a 0 – 20 mA signal range with 12-bit resolution. The module offers electrical isolation, fast conversion, and sensor supply for automation systems requiring reliable current signal acquisition.
The KL3041 bus terminal supplies power to field transducers and transmits isolated analog measurement signals to automation devices. The model weighs about 70 grams that makes it compact and easy to install in various setups. It operates with a 24 V DC power supply provided via power contacts. Its internal resistance is specified as 80 ohms plus a diode voltage of 0.7 V. The bus terminal provides electrical isolation up to 500 V between the K bus and the signal inputs. This ensures safe and interference free operation in industrial environments. It supports a signal current measurement range from 0 to 20 mA that enables direct connection of standard industrial sensors and transmitters. An integrated sensor supply function delivers the necessary auxiliary voltage to connected sensors. This eliminates the need for external power sources and supporting a wide range of two wire and three wire sensor configurations. The device consumes a typical current of 65 mA from the K-bus during operation. Surge voltage resistance is rated up to a maximum of 35 V. The KL series bus terminal has a measurement error or uncertainty of less than ± 0.3 % relative to the full scale value.
