The KL3022 analog input terminal designed by Beckhoff as a bus terminal transmits electrically isolated digitized current. This terminals input channels are equipped with differential inputs. The product detects overload and open lead conditions. This devices status is relayed through the K-bus to the controller. The units data exchange with its supporting bus coupler is portrayed by the run LED. It reports a broken wire or an overload condition using the error LED. This terminal is noted for dual-channel functionality.

The product has separate run and error LEDs for each input channel. This devices signal current is set between 4 mA and 20 mA. The units measuring error is less than +/-0.30% in the normal operating temperature range. Its run LED is in an off state if the bus coupler transmits no process data for 100 ms.
