The KL2701 is a 1 Channel Solid State Relay Bus Terminal. It delivers a steady output current of 3 A. The model is designed for electronic load switching. It uses a high power MOSFET. It features wear free operation with LED status indication.
The Beckhoff KL2701 bus terminal supports both ohmic and inductive load types. It provides surge voltage protection starting from 400 V AC. It can manage peak currents of 5 A for 20 seconds and 50 A for 100 milliseconds. The switching speed typically measures 1.65 milliseconds with a maximum of 5 milliseconds. The contact resistance of the bus terminal is approximately 0.1 Ω. Electrical isolation is maintained at 500 V for K bus/field voltage and 2500 V AC for one minute. The terminal consumes around 65 mA via the K bus and supports 2 outputs (bit width). Its switch off time ranges between 2 and 4 milliseconds. The model is configured automatically without the need for manual settings. It features very low leakage current in the OFF state significantly less than 1 mA. The recommended fuse rating for the terminal is a fast acting 10 A or lower. The model only draws leakage and load currents through its power contacts. Residual voltage is minimal at around 100 mΩ.
