Beckhoff offers the KL2532 Bus Terminal for compact drive control applications of industrial automation. The terminal is equipped with two independent drive channels. It is designed for the control of the DC brush motor with inductive loading. Each channel has a direct motor connection from the terminal.

The KL2532 terminal supports one DC motor output per channel. Each channel offers one digital input for end position feedback. Motor drives that are connected allow monitoring of position. The output current from the terminal is a maximum of 1 A per channel. 2 x 1 A is supported as a merged maximum output. Both channels are short-circuit proof and thermally protected. The feature enhances system safety in overload situations. The current control in 10-bit makes the KL2532 terminal provide a high resolution. It will also support 16-bit resolution for speed control. This assists in motor operation in industrial systems to ensure accuracy. The housing of the terminal is polycarbonate for lightweight durability.
