Because the KL2404 enables users to regulate both ohmic and inductive load types as well as light load types, it provides control capabilities for a variety of industrial equipment. The module acts as a short-circuit proof protection mechanism, although the output channels can only handle a maximum current of 0.5 A. To protect connected equipment while fault prevention takes place, each output channel of the terminal generates a short-circuit current of less than 2 A.
