Wake Industrial LLC is not an authorized distributor of this product.
The Beckhoff KL2114 is part of the KL Analog Input Modules series and offers 4 outputs with a maximum output current of 0.5 A per channel. It is designed for mounting on a 35 mm rail and uses polycarbonate housing, with an IP20 protection class and 24 V DC nominal voltage. The KL2114 supports both ohmic and inductive load types and complies with EMC and vibration shock resistance standards EN 61000-6-2, EN 61000-6-4, EN 60068-2-6, and EN 60068-2-27.
Internal Product Review
The KL2114 is a Beckhoff 24 V DC output module with 4 outputs. Support for ohmic, inductive, and lamp loads with 0.5 A per channel gives the terminal strong application flexibility in machine I/O. Variable installation positioning and 2-wire / 3-wire connection technology make the KL2114 a practical and dependable choice for control panels.

Product Description:
The KL2114 digital output terminal is produced by Beckhoff for the KL terminal series. This unit functions as a four-channel 24 V DC actuator interface that sends switching signals from a Bus Coupler or Embedded PC to field devices. In distributed control cabinets, the terminal forms part of the modular DIN-rail I/O system and passes both data and power along the internal terminal bus to simplify wiring on automated production lines.
It draws its logic and output supply from the system’s 24 V DC power rail. Each channel can source up to 0.5 A per channel, enabling direct operation of relays and valves without interposing amplifiers. The terminal offers 4 discrete outputs mapped one-to-one into the controller’s process image, so programming only requires bit addressing. Basic protection is provided by the enclosure’s IP20 rating and by the polycarbonate housing that encloses live conductors. Electromagnetic stability is verified against EN 61000-6-2 / EN 61000-6-4, supporting reliable switching near frequency inverters. Ohmic, inductive, and lamp loads are supported by integrated output circuitry that includes energy suppression for inductive kickback.
The backplane power contacts can carry 10 A, so adjacent terminals receive a common feed without additional harnessing. Field wiring is terminated through 2-wire / 3-wire spring clamps, and the module locks onto a 35 mm rail (EN 60715) in any orientation, allowing flexible installation. Compliance with EN 60068-2-6 / EN 60068-2-27 certifies resistance to vibration and mechanical shock present on presses or conveyors. Because no reverse-current safeguard is integrated, the supply polarity must be observed, and clear printed legends on the housing help reduce connection errors. The narrow housing preserves the streamlined footprint and tool-less assembly used in Beckhoff terminal strings.
