Product Description:
The KL1722 is a highly advanced 2-channel analog input module of the KL Analog Input Series developed by Beckhoff in particular with high performance for industrial automation. The module works with a nominal voltage of 120/230 V AC and at the same time encompasses a wide range of possible signal inputs. The module's 0 signal voltage ranges between 0 to 40 V and 1 signal voltage between 79 to 260 V.
The KL1722 features a secure signal processing using an input filter of typ. 10 ms that gets rid of all the noise and transients there. It provides an input current of more than 3 mA with typical values of around 6 mA to drive it safely and efficiently cope up with diversified loads. Almost 3 mA is consumed from the K-bus for optimum energy usage in automation structures. The switching time is pretty fast at around about 10 ms, which allows for fairly high response rates for real-time applications. The bit width in the process image is 2 inputs, which makes direct integration with control systems possible.
It is provided with ohmic and capacitive input behavior so that it can be matched up with any kind of sensor type. The module weighs about 60 g.
